12- Interplay

I am a huge fan of James Bond and the newest movies are great. in this poster 007 is written and actually mister Bond who is agent 007 is in front of it .

I find that the interplay is very effective in this shocking ad, it surely graves the message in our heads, since it sheds light on the suffering of children working for Nike. 

13. The Flying Dutchmen

I have learned that even though perspectives are personal and mostly different ; we have some shared perspectives, for example; starting to draw from  the left. at first I though that it can be because of where we start our writings; however as an Arab we write from the right to the left and I still have always started drawing from the left.
another thing is that images can be used to tell stories in interesting ways, and more  amazingly when a group of minds collaborate to create a story from an image there are no limitations .


14. Comics

this is Naruto Uzumaki, from the Naruto manga. he is my favorite character of all times for many reasons. he is unbelievably brave and strong. the Blondie is special because he is not as poplar and loved in his world like any other hero; the opposite, he is hated. however people grow to love him.  another aspect I love about Naruto is how he contains the enormous power of the nine tails monster, and he controls is perfectly. 

15. Getting in Shape

this is a sketch made by one of my best friends, it is based on my current Facebook picture. He wrote on it Glory Glory Man Utd, this is what he hears me talking about all the time. he tried to make my eyes bigger (as I'm almost chineese like). I really liked it.

18. How This Class Might Be Improved: 

I enjoyed this class a lot. I loved the lectures and the presentation. I think this method is very amusing to cut the routine of one way learning of usual lectures. the blog assignments were very challenging at first, since I am not very good at taking pictures; however, assignments have gotten more doable through the semester. 

Thank You for everything you have taught me on academic and personal level. I wish you the best of luck for your new job. I hope you live in joy, success, and love inshaalah. :) :) 

Assignment 6-7-8-9-10-11

6- Signifies

Medication:

-          When I am home and I find some medication around I constantly know that someone from my family is sick; hence, I ask around who is not feeling well and check on them one by one. In addition, the type of medication shows me what kind of sickness they exactly have.

Toys:

-          When I go visit someone at their house, or someone I do not necessarily know and I notice some toys around, I understand that they have kids.

-          When I come back home from university and see some toys around I know that some of my cousins are visiting.

Umbrellas:

-          When I wake up and get out of my room and see some umbrellas in the hall, I constantly know that there is a bad weather outside.

-          When someone comes to visit and they bring umbrellas I know that it is probably raining or snowing

7- Goals

1)    To read all books of Charles Dickens by the end of 2014

2)    To watch all James Bond movies by my birthday on September

3)    To learn Spanish and Turkish by the time I graduate next spring

8- Mission Statement

To regularly inspire myself to learn more about the world.

9- Logo:

I used cooltext to make my logo.

My best friends call me Mima, so I chose my nickname to use for the logo. I used font: Kingthings Petrock, because I found it very classy and energetic as well. I used my favorite color on a black background, because I believe that having a black background helps to put focus on what is written, especially if it is written in light color. I used sparkles because it gives it a glamorous effect.

10- Branded

Nivea

- Nivea is one of my favorite cosmetic brands, I found the previous generations in my family using it, and I became branded by it through the years.

Clinique

- Clinique branded me in the last 4 years, since I feel some classy, silky and elegant effect by using its products. 

Avon:

- I am branded by avon because it gives me a chance to order anything I want from distance. I branded by it because it delivers all products to my home, so basically I am branded by it is a good brand which delivers quickly .

Manchester United 

- Man utd is my favorite football club, and I am branded by it as well. their logo can be found everywhere around my room

Vichy:

- since I find Vichy's products very practical, I got used to them and probably cannot survive without them. I am branded by Vichy due to my need to such gentle and alcohol free products.

11- My Morocco:

I see my Morocco through the Motto that exist in every city : "God, Homeland, king" because it summarizes the way I want to prioritize my values and the way I believe my Morocco can be protected. (Photo in Agadir)

I see my Morocco in the religion present in every aspect in life. I see it through the mosques that are build among homes and other shops. signifying to me that in Moroccan culture, religion is present at any context, environment, neighborhood; that it is present in the daily life of anyone, and mosques can be found anywhere, close to our hearts.  (Photo in Fes)

I see my Morocco through the beautiful see and the sun, through the relaxing beaches which we've been blessed with in every border of our country. even though I do not live on the coasts, they are my refugees to enjoy the beautiful smell of the see and the warm sun at sunset. ( photos in Martil)

Assignment 2 -3 -4 -5

Assignment 2: 

I hold the plastic cup close to the camera while Yacine was sitting in the middle of the field; he was putting his hands up in a position that made him look like he is trying to protect himself from a giant cup held by some giant person.

I photographed the landscape behind my house from the window, & I used a small bucket which I put close to the camera, and it looks like it is overshadowing the empty spaces down. Also, I tried to put the bucket in the ends of the building which looks like they are connected by some kind of roof.

Yacine putting his hands in the position of holding something and I held the pen hold to the camera so it made it seem like he is holding it up.

Assignment 3: 

In this logo of ‘la petite robe noire’ they used black in the logo and the name whereas, the surroundings are white which brings out the logo as more attractive and classy. 

This Clinique product has an orange package which is very attracting, also , they used a silver shining color to write the name , which made a great combination between the orange and the silver writing, this gives me the idea of having some sexy trendy product .

this Nike sign on a jacket is in a light green (pistache) which is very defined through the sign on the dark blue color. this make the sigh very clear and definable on the jacket. this gives me the sense of a sharp mind and simple thinking about choosing a brand signed clothing.

 Assignment 4:

Le petit marseillais uses different fonts and sizes to write the the logo. also , they use 3 lines to define the name. the little boy is put down of the name as a little boy which represents 'le petit". this kind of logo and font using gives the sense of infants and family closeness. 

Every strand product uses an effective use of lines which are intertwined and diagonal, and the lines start as thin and thicken as they go up. this is an energetic way of using logos , which gives me as a user the sense of youth, being dynamic and the need to use my energy productively. 

the Reebock logo used some diagonal lines, which are at the same time thin and thick from different end. this for me means advocating for change, energetic and youthful. 

Assignment 5:  

Proximity: this picture shows two chunks of the same word which gives us the sense that they are two separate groups ( LO & VE) because of their closeness to each other.

Similarity: these Signs of Manchester United are similar each other.
